Stonewood homeowners gathered on Wednesday, October 28, for our annual association membership meeting. Board members and officers were elected for the coming year, and the meeting played host to visitors from the Altamonte Springs Police Dept.
K-9 officer Odin (pictured) was popular with the crowd. He was joined by Police Chief Terence Nicolas and two human officers, as well. The chief discussed public safety in the area, crime statistics, and plans for the coming year. He also answered questions from the audience.
During the business meeting, homeowners elected the following slate of officers and board members for the year beginning Nov. 1:
President – Marcy Hill, 963 Stonewood Lane
Vice President – Louis Gonzalez, 984 Stonewood Lane
Treasurer – Loren Omoto, 452 Stonewood Lane
Secretary – Diane Vitello, 452 Forestwood Lane
Board member – Brad Scharfenberg, 986 Stonewood Lane
Thanks to outgoing board member Jon Mark Sprowl and departing secretary Mariel Kagan for their service during the past year.
The first meeting of the new board is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Nov. 10, at 963 Stonewood Lane. All homeowners are invited to attend.
